Michael Pascal
Head of Mechanical & Safety Dept. (Senior Mechanical Engineer)
Michael incorporated the Aquaculture Production Technology (Israel) Ltd.
(APT) company in 1978 together with Dr. Cohen and in 1980 incorporated its
associated company, PAZ Engineering and Management (1980) Ltd. (PAZ). He
managed and controlled both companies until 2011.
He was involved, as an engineer and manager, in numerous engineering projects,
industrial facilities in the field of chemicals, oil and gas, energy, infrastructure,
environmental, etc.
In parallel, he was/is responsible for APT’s activities worldwide, and as such, carried out
numerous Feasibility Studies/ Business Plans for aquaculture projects in 5 continents,
focusing in developing countries which offer excellent conditions in terms of climate, land
and water availability and domestic food consumption. Many of the reviewed projects
developed into operational ventures and expanded throughout the years,
The aquaculture opportunities were/are taken advantage of by the integrated
engineering and technical aspects covered by PAZ. or by agriculture companies
combining fish farming with irrigated agriculture,
By education Michael Pascal holds two Technicon- Israel Institute of Technology – BSc
degrees in Chemical Engineering and Systems Analysis and an MSc degree in Business
Administration by the Tel Aviv University
